Know Your Pistol

Location: Mission 160 Shooting Range- 6040 State Hwy 160, Whitewright, TX

Cost: $300

The Know Your Pistol Course is designed to ensure knowledge and confidence in yourself and your pistol. We will cover safety, drawing from the holster, clearing malfunctions, reloading, tactical shot placement, engaging multiple targets, and shooting on the move. There is no such thing as advanced shooting. There is just mastery of the fundamentals delivered at speed and on demand. There are a maximum of 8 spots available, to ensure students get plenty of 1:1 coaching, along with getting to see other students learn.

Required Equipment: 
Pistol with 3 magazines
500 rounds of ammunition
Secure holster and belt
Eye and Ear Protection
Water and Food
Weather Appropriate Clothing and Sunscreen– We shoot rain or shine.

Know Your Rifle

Location: ETTS Shooting Range- 620 Greathouse Rd, Waxahachie, TX 75167

Cost: $300

The Know Your Rifle Course is designed to ensure the student understands their rifle, their capabilities, and can deliver accurate fire, on demand, in any conditions. This course covers safety, rifle setup, grouping, clearing malfunctions, reloading, tactical shot placement, engaging multiple targets, and shooting on the move. At the end of the course, there will be an opportunity to shoot out to 650 yards on the long range bay for those who are interested.

Required Equipment:
Rifle with sling and 3 magazines
500 rounds of ammunition (No armor piercing ammunition)
Ballistic Eye Protection, Ear Protection, and Gloves
Water and Food
Weather Appropriate Clothing and Sunscreen – We shoot rain or shine.

Know What You Carry

(Every Day Carry)

The guns we carry the most are often the guns we shoot the least. These are the guns we should be shooting the most often. This course is an opportunity to use what you have on your person on a daily basis. No competition holsters or pistols. No shooting jerseys. Your daily carry in your daily carry attire. This course can be taught with carbines as well since they often reside by a nightstand or in a vehicle.

We will cover safely and consistently drawing from your concealed carry location of choice, tactical shot placement, engaging multiple targets, the use of barriers and barricades, and shooting on the move. Due to the “advanced” nature of this course it is required that you attend a Know Your Pistol or Know Your Rifle course prior to attending.

Know Your Security Plan

Overseas we rehearsed and simulated every possible scenario before each mission. We did this because we didn’t want to be improvising solutions during the mission. Much like medical training, this is most often neglected area in your training regimen. Also like medical, you don’t want to have to figure it out while it is happening.

This course will evaluate your current security plan. We will cover weapon storage and location, the physical security of your home, your security plan in the event of a break-in, your medical plan in the event of an accident, your communication plan in the event of an accident, and your vehicle setups.
